He completed his basic medical education from KMC, Mangaluru followed by post graduation in Ophthalmology from SDM College of Medical Sciences,Dharwad.
Thereafter he pursued his Research-cum-clinical Vitreo-Retina fellowship from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He worked as a consultant in department of Vitreo-retina at Narayana Nethralaya Bangalore.He has years of practice as a Vitreo-Retinal surgeon in various other hospitals in Hyderabad and Bangalore previously.
He is also a Member of Royal college of surgeons(MRCS, Glasgow, UK)
His areas of interests include retinal vascular disorders like early and advanced diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions, as well as minimally invasive vitreous surgery for retinal detachments, and trauma.

She pursued her post graduation from RIO, Kolkata and from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. She was awarded the Neurophthalmology gold medal during her post graduation at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai
She underwent fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neurophthalmology at LV Prasad eye institute, Hyderabad
She is also a fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology, Glasgow, UK
She has made several presentations in National and international conferences
She worked as a Consultant in the department of Pediatric Ophthalmology & cataract at Narayana Nethralaya Bangalore
Her areas of interest are laser cataract surgery, Simple and complex Squint, lazy eye and other pediatric eye disorders and optic nerve diseases
